My Story
The Inspiring Journey of Lady Naomie Pigatt

Lady Naomie Pigatt is a living testimony of faith, perseverance, and divine purpose. Born with Sickle Cell Disease, she has faced battles that could have broken her—but through the grace of God, she continues to rise, inspire, and serve. From being healed when doctors said she would die, to becoming a mother after being told she couldn’t have children, Naomie is living proof that miracles still happen.
A proud Miami native, Naomie’s walk of faith began in her father’s church, First Church of God by Faith, where at just nine years old she witnessed God’s healing power after doctors said her leg would need to be amputated—but through prayer, God along with doctors spared her.
Married to her best friend and partner in purpose, Pastor Errick Pigatt, for over twenty three years, she is the proud mother of five beautiful children — Nicholas, Amanda, Caleb, Jacob, and Sarah. Together, she and her husband have served faithfully in multiple ministry roles within the Church of God of Prophecy, empowering youth, singles, and families to live out their God-given destinies.
Professionally, Lady Naomie serves as a Patient Navigator and Community Health Worker for the University of Miami’s Pediatrics and Adult Sickle Cell Program. She is also a Board Member and Coordinator for the SCDAA Miami-Dade County Chapter. Her passion for advocacy led her to create Fighting the Pain TV — a platform dedicated to faith, awareness, and empowerment for those living with chronic illnesses.
A former early childhood educator of twelve years, Naomie’s heart for people shines in every role she takes — as a Speaker, Teacher, Business Owner, Event Organizer, Songwriter, and Servant Leader. Her mission is simple yet powerful: to glorify God, uplift others, and remind the world that even in pain, there is purpose.
Today, Lady Naomie and Pastor Errick are preparing to launch United by Faith Church, a ministry built on love, hope, and restoration — empowering families, youth, and communities to stand strong in faith.
Her life continues to echo her personal motto:
“Make your life count — and don’t complain, it could be worse.”

This powerful and transparent work shares the journey of living with sickle cell disease while discovering purpose in the midst of pain. The book speaks to patients, caregivers, and anyone facing chronic illness, offering encouragement, hope, and practical insight on how God can transform suffering into strength and calling.
